Our SACOM August layout’s operating-session will be held at the layout building (901 10th Street, St. Albans) on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, following our regular monthly SACOM meeting. Meeting starts at 11 AM, and op-session follows, beginning at noon. This op-session will depict C&O operations in 1972, including blue-era C&O diesels and the earliest Amtrak.
If you have 1972-era C&O HO DCC motive power, bring it to run (and we’ll also have power here for you to run). Any blue C&O diesel switchers, GP7, GP9, GP30, 35, 38, 40, GE’s, and SD35 and SD40 (this is pre-Chessie System paint). You need not be a SACOM member, and all are invited to attend!
