Another Friday evening at our SACOM layout (7/2/21) brings together nine for model train operations, fellowship and fun. Jack Fellure (center) traveled here from New Mexico – our farthest-traveled guest. We meet here every Friday evening, alternating “Operating Fridays” and “Work Fridays.” You’re welcome to join us for BOTH!
Our layout depicts parts of C&O’s Kanawha and New River Subs, stretching from Hurricane east to Cotton Hill, and the layout thus far includes 15 scale miles of mainline trackage (all in service), plus other trackage. More layout details with the next post.
